Greek Church Bell Tower
It’s been a funny old week, photo wise, this week. I did the first module of my online photography course this week, only to find that I’ve actually taken less photographs than normal! Which I put down to the fact that the first module was all about cameras and camera settings, with no assignment to do.
Next week could well be the same, as I intend to go over the second half of the module again. Could I get my head around the camera settings and what they do?… Kind of and kind of not – equally.
Of course we had an evening up the mini mountains with the dogs again. And I tried to take photos of different things other than the views (which were unusually clear for this time of year), but I’m not sharing those with you today, as I rather liked the photos I took of this Greek church bell tower.
I like the way the setting sun is catching the side of bell tower and illuminating the leaves. I don’t usually keep photographs with telegraph poles or cables in, or I at least try to crop them out. However I thought this photo looked better with the pole in than with it cropped out, it sort of added a little something.
Judging by the brickwork on this bell tower, it’s not quite as old as I first thought.
Which photo do you prefer? Would you have opted to crop out the telegraph pole or would you have kept it in?
